Savoy Chiropractors FAQs

Is it true that once you begin chiropractic care, you need to continue it for the rest of your life?

No, this is a misconception. Any good chiropractor will not force any kind of treatment on you. And we don’t.

“When it comes to us, our patients want to come back because they’re thrilled with the positive energy they experience and their great results. We regularly evaluate your progress to see if we’re meeting our set goals so we stay on track.”

You’re the boss and you’re in charge when it comes to your health.

How long does each visit take?

For your first visit, expect to spend about 30 to 45 minutes with us. This covers your initial consultation where we’ll evaluate your health. We may ask for additional tests such as an x-rays depending on your situation.

The second visit generally takes about 30 minutes and during this time we’ll discuss your options for care.

Follow up visits take about 20 minutes each and this is when we’ll do the adjustments and exercises (as needed).

Can you help with my condition?

We hope we can! We promise to give you the whole truth, regardless.

To determine if we can help, we’ll start by making a proper diagnosis after evaluating your medical history and current situation. We recognize you as the unique individual you are, and we’ll do our best to personalize your care based on your specific needs and wants.

However, if we think that chiropractic is not ideal for your healing, we’ll refer you to the right place.

Since I’ve had back surgery, will chiropractic care work for me?

Yes! Did you know that chiropractic care is often recommended for people who have undergone back surgery?

In our experience, we’ve seen that chiropractic care helps to prevent additional degeneration in joints so you can possibly avoid additional surgeries and find relief when needed.

Will I need to take x-rays?

We avoid taking a x-rays unless absolutely necessary. Once we complete the physical exam, we evaluate whether there is any possible structural issues. Only in such cases do we recommend taking an x-ray. For our younger patients, we don’t do x-rays unless there is trauma or special situation.

Do you take insurance?

Yes, we do take insurance! Please bring your insurance card with you when you come for your first visit so we can take care of this for you! If you have any questions on your coverage, please give us a call or stop in so we can get you an answer.
